The wiring for an elcb (Earth Leakage circuit breaker) or Leakage Protection Switch is as follows:
1. Turn off the power supply to the circuit you will be working on.
2. Identify the live wire (usually black or brown) and the neutral wire (usually blue) in the circuit.
3. Connect the live wire to the "Line" terminal of the ELCB.
4. Connect the neutral wire to the "Neutral" terminal of the ELCB.
5. Connect the outgoing live wire to the "Load" terminal of the ELCB.
6. Connect the outgoing neutral wire to the "Load Neutral" terminal of the ELCB.
7. Connect the earth wire (usually green or yellow-green) to the "Earth" terminal of the ELCB.
8. Make sure all connections are secure and tight.
9. Turn on the power supply and test the ELCB by pressing the test button. It should trip and cut off the power supply.
10. If the ELCB functions correctly, reset it by pressing the reset button.
It is important to note that the exact wiring may vary depending on the specific model and manufacturer of the ELCB. It is always recommended to consult the manufacturer's instructions or a qualified electrician for specific guidance.
